Hiking Date: 9 July 2017 Level: Easy Length: 5 hours View: Yushin Blue, the water color of the dam is beautiful http://www.syonan-bus.co.jp/hikingbus/course/id/7 This hiking course was getting popular as I heard, but during our time, we didn't see that much people. The main purpose of this hiking was to see the beautiful color of the water of the dam, the color that is called Yushin Blue. Basically the color could be seen along the way when the river got deep. But the beautiful location was the pool near the Kurokura (玄倉) dam. It was a surprise when on our return way, the Yushin Blue in the Kurokura dam was vanished, it seemed the water was released downstream. The course itself was very easy. We walked most the time on asphalt road where authorized cars could pass. We passed several tunnels, but only one tunnel got completely dark, that flashlight was mandatory but mobile phone was OK too. The most enjoying part was picnic in the river. Though the water was pretty

Hiking Date: 11 June 2017 Level: Easy Length: 4 hours View: Kamakura city, Yokohama city, Mt. Fuji (weather permitted) Today, we (my guide friend Ikemen-S and I) started at Enoden Hase Station (江ノ電、長谷駅). After a walk on the road, just before the tunnel, we climbed the stair to enter the Kuzuhara-Daibutsu (Daibutsu = Big Budha) hiking course. We passed the mountain behind the famous Kamakura Big Buddha, since the trees were dense, we could not see the Big Buddha from the mountain. Kamakura city is surrounded by mountain, though it is not that high. The highest point is Mount Ohira (大平山), only 149.2 m above sea level. After a while, we passed Kuzuharaoka Shrine. There is a place where you can trow a small plate to the rock. It is said that you put all your bad things in the plate, and by throwing it into peaces to the rock, your bad things will go away. The first part of our course, Kuzuhara-Daibutsu course finished in about 1 hour, then we arrived in the city. We walked
